Welcome to Specialized Knowledge Academy (“SKA”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services (the “Site”), including membership plans, online courses, downloadable resources, and any community features. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our services.
1. Definitions
Member: A user who has registered and purchased a membership level or is registered under our free access tier.
Membership Plan / Level: The access tier you choose (e.g., Free Access, FastTrack Member, Elite Member) which determines your rights and the content you may access.
Courses / Content: The lessons, modules, videos, PDFs, certifications and other educational material provided by SKA.
Resources: Additional downloadable materials, articles, replays and other content for members.
Dashboard / Member Area: The logged-in area of the Site where you access your courses, progress, resources and account settings.
2. Membership Services & Access
Upon registration and (if applicable) payment of the applicable fee, you will receive access to the Membership Plan you selected.
Access is granted subject to you complying with these Terms and maintaining your account in good standing.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to the Site or content if you breach these Terms.
Membership provides access to content as described at the time of purchase; SKA may enhance, substitute or remove content from time to time.
3. Membership Levels, Fees & Billing
SKA offers multiple Membership Plans (Free, FastTrack, Elite). Each plan’s description, pricing and billing cycle will be shown on the Site at the time of registration.
Paid plans may be billed monthly or annually as specified (“Recurring Subscription”).
By purchasing a paid plan you authorise us to charge your payment method for the fees and any applicable taxes or surcharges.
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan subject to our policies; changing levels may result in pro-rated charges or refunds depending on timing.
If payment fails, your access may be limited or terminated until payment is made.
All fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or as otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
4. User Registration, Account & Security
You must provide accurate, complete and current registration information to become a Member.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
SKA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep login details secure.
5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
When using the Site or content you agree not to:
Use the Site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
Share, distribute or resell your access, credentials, or content to non-members.
Copy, reproduce, modify or publicly display content unless expressly permitted by SKA.
Harass, threaten or intimidate other members or use the Site in a way that could harm SKA’s reputation.
Use the Site in a way that violates the rights of another party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
Interfere with, disrupt or damage the Site or servers, data or networks connected to the Site.
If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your Membership, remove content, and/or take legal action if needed.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (courses, videos, PDFs, graphics, logos, trademarks) is owned by SKA or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use during your membership.
You may not copy, adapt, distribute, license, sell or otherwise exploit any part of the content without SKA’s prior written permission.
7. Course Progress, Certificates & Resource Use
SKA may provide certificates of completion via our LMS (Tutor LMS) when you satisfactorily complete a course, subject to our criteria.
Access to resources (PDFs, articles, downloads) is permitted only for active members of the relevant level; upon cancellation or expiry your access may be revoked.
SKA reserves the right to change course structure, module content or drip-release schedule at any time. We will notify members where feasible.
8. Refunds, Cancellation & Termination
You may cancel your subscription by following the instructions in your account area or contacting us. Cancellation will apply for future billing cycles; you will retain access until the end of your paid period.
No refunds will be given for fees already paid, except where required by law or as provided in our separate refund policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in cases of breach of these Terms, illegal activity or misuse of content.
Upon termination: your rights under your Membership end immediately; you must cease using the content and may forfeit access to your account.
9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
The Site and content are provided “as is” and “as available”. SKA does not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free content.
SKA makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKA’s liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the previous 12 months. SKA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.
10. Changes to Terms & Services
SKA reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
We will notify members of significant changes via email or a notice in the Member Dashboard. Continued use of the Site after the changes implies your acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
